Today was my appointment with my family doctor to discuss my high platelet count. As I assumed would happen he opted not to discuss the issue too much since it could be nothing, something, or a mix that could be treated or not in any number of ways. After an hour and 45 minutes I left with new order for a blood draw.
I will have that done tomorrow and he will call me with the results. If the count is still high, he's not exactly sure how we will proceed. So for now I'm dying or not.
