It's been a long time coming but we finally have a new (to us) car for Mr. MFBA. While I know he is super sad about driving this on a daily basis as opposed to my 1994 Sentra that he has been ninja-ing in to every day for the last few months since the door broke, I am certain that he can some how adjust. The journey to purchasing this car was paved with months of internet shopping, multiple trips to the dealership, nasty conversations, a complaint filed with Acura, the BBB, the Ohio AG's office, a call to the VP of the automotive group, and lastly the phone call from the sales manager of this dealership.
They probably just wanted to shut me up and keep me from complaining to anyone else.* That's fine with me. We have the exact car that we wanted, at the price that we wanted. I haven't driven it yet but from the test drive and time we spent sitting in the driveway last night trying to figure everything out I know I will love it as much as Mr. MFBA does.
*I'm not buying the "we just want to keep you in the ____ Acura family" line that was used.
