Teen L could best be described as bubbly this morning. She was up early and nearly ready by the time I came upstairs. I didn't have to ask her to redo her hair (6" shorter as of yesterday) or teeth, very unusual, but I did have to remind her to take her medicine. I was actually glad for that because too much atypical behavior would have short circuited my mind. She's excited about the new year. I'm cautiously optimistic but her enthusiasm is contagious even at 7:00 am. I hope she has a wonderful first day of school!
